Our newly launched ultrasonic ice-full detection sensor for commercial ice machines uses non-contact ultrasonic technology to monitor the thickness and position of ice layers in real-time through high-frequency sound waves. It completely solves the pain points of traditional solutions and provides a reliable and intelligent ice volume management solution for commercial ice-making scenarios.

The sensor is installed above the ice storage bin with the probe facing downward into the bin, continuously monitoring the distance to the ice surface in real-time.
When the ice machine is operating, ice accumulates in the bin, causing the distance between the ice surface and the sensor to gradually decrease. Once the measured distance falls below a preset threshold, the sensor sends a signal to the controller. The controller then determines that the bin is full and triggers the ice machine to stop production, preventing overflow.
After users remove ice and the surface level drops, the sensor detects an increased distance exceeding the threshold. The controller then activates the ice machine to resume production, ensuring a consistent supply of ice in the storage bin.
