Device Features

DYP-SL01 is a high-precision, non-contact liquid level measurement device designed for demanding industrial applications. It offers a minimum blind zone of just 6cm and a maximum measuring range of up to 3m, with real-time liquid level display via a mobile APP and a simple, convenient installation method. The device is powered by 2× ER26500 9000mAh lithium-thionyl chloride batteries, providing up to 12 months of battery life in typical usage scenarios.

Its non-contact measurement principle makes it immune to winding, clogging, and corrosion, ensuring maintenance-free operation. For wireless communication, it adopts a WiFi + public network + APP mode, with a transmission distance of ≥30 meters in open environments. DYP-SL01 also features comprehensive alarm functions, including low liquid level warnings and low battery alarms, both pushed via APP and email notifications.
Wireless Communication Workflow
 
In terms of protection, the device holds explosion-proof safety certification and achieves an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating. It further incorporates automatic temperature compensation, which adjusts radar wave speed based on temperature to enhance measurement accuracy, as well as an anti-interference design that filters out interference from liquid surface fluctuations, bubbles, or in-tank obstacles such as stirring devices.

Short press

A short press makes the indicator light turn solid on, and it turns off after power-on is complete.

Power off

Long press for 3 second

After the device is powered on, long press for 3 seconds in any state. The indicator light will turn solid on; release when the light turns off to complete power-off.

Reconfigure network

Long press for more than 5 second

After the device is powered on, long press for more than 5 seconds in any state. Press until the indicator light goes from solid on to off, then blinks once, and release. At this point, the network configuration information will be cleared and the device will re-enter network configuration mode.

3. Device Working Logic

(1) The device wakes up periodically every 1 hour for detection work.
(2) Upon automatic or manual wake-up, the device collects the corresponding data and reports it. The automatic reporting interval can be configured remotely.
(3) If abnormal data is detected during automatic or manual wake-up collection, it will be reported according to the corresponding abnormal status.
(4) After each work cycle or data reporting is completed, the device immediately enters sleep mode.
 

4. Network Protocol

The device establishes an MQTT connection with the platform via WiFi wireless communication. By default, MQTT push mode is adopted. Data reports can be viewed and device parameters can be configured on the platform side or client side.
