DYP-A16 ultrasonic smart water level sensor module uses proven ultrasonic sensing technology for distance measurement. Adopts high-performance processor and superior quality elements which output reliable stability value and has long life span. Waterproof ultrasonic transducer with strong adaptability to various operating environment. This module build-in high precision ranging algorithm and power consumption management procedure, has high ranging accuracy, low power consumption, long measuring distance and narrow measurement angle features.

(1) Typical data obtained from a test with a temperature of about 25℃, power supply of 12V, 500ms duty cycle.
(2) The temperature is about 25℃, the measured object is a 50cm×60cm flat carton, and the transducer must be as vertical as possible to the measured object.
(3) The measured object is the reference data obtained from the test of a φ75mm×100cm white PVC pipe with a distance of 100cm.
(4) The temperature is about 25℃, and the indoor environment without wind, the measured object is a 50cm×60cm flat carton, and S means the measuring distance.

Product Features
DYP-A16 ultrasonic sensor integrates advanced technologies to deliver exceptional distance measurement performance. Featuring a reflective structure, it ensures a long detection range with a narrow beam angle, while the smart signal processing circuit minimizes the blind zone. Its built-in high-accuracy ranging algorithm achieves a minimum error of <5mm, and the controllable measuring angle enhances sensitivity and anti-interference capability. A true target recognition algorithm further boosts accuracy in identifying objects.
With versatile output interfaces—including PWM, UART, Switch, RS232, and RS485—it offers high adaptability for various systems. The internal temperature compensation function ensures stable ranging from -15°C to +60°C. Designed for low power consumption, it draws <15μA in standby and <10mA during operation (with 5VDC input), while supporting a wide voltage supply range of 3.3-24V. Compliant with IEC61000-4-2 standards, its anti-static design ensures reliability across the -15°C to +60°C operating temperature range.

(1) When two or more modules are used in the application scenario, it is recommended to use a module with controlled output (high-level pulse width output, UART controlled output), and use a time-sharing work method to prevent mutual communication between modules interference.
