DYP-A12ultrasonic sensor enables long-distance measurement with a small detection angle, leveraging an intelligent signal processing circuit to minimize the blind area. Featuring a high-precision ranging algorithm, it ensures a minimum error of <5mm. The controllable measurement angle, combined with high sensitivity and robust anti-interference capability, enhances detection reliability. A built-in true target recognition algorithm delivers accurate target identification, while the configurable professional mode supports targeted measurement of human bodies or planar objects.

With versatile output options—high-level pulse width, UART, or switching values—it offers strong interface adaptability. The onboard temperature compensation function automatically corrects deviations, ensuring stable ranging from -15°C to +60°C. Supporting a wide voltage range (3.3~24V), the sensor integrates electrostatic protection on output leads, complying with IEC61000-4-2 standards, and operates reliably within -15°C to +60°C.

Module DYP-A12 is engineered with a suite of advanced features, with its Narrow beam angle standing out as a defining trait that enhances precision in target detection. Matters Needing Attention

1. The module will assemble the net cover by default. If the net cover cannot be used or is not needed in the application scenario, special instructions are required when placing an order.

2. When two or more modules are used in the application scenario, it is recommended to use the module with controlled output (high-level pulse width output and UART controlled output) and adopt time-sharing mode to prevent mutual interference between modules.

3. Please pay attention to EMC evaluation during design. Improper system design may cause abnormal function of module.

4. When the boundary application of module limit parameters is involved, the FAE of our company can be contacted to confirm the relevant precautions.

Module Connecting and Using Instruction

The VCC lead of the module is the power supply lead, which is connected to the positive pole of 3.3-24 V power supply. The GND lead of the module is the grounding lead, which is connected to the negative pole of the power supply. Module RX and TX are function leads, which can be connected to the user's equipment as signal input or output. The output modes of modules (high-level pulse width output, UART automatic output, UART controlled output and switch output) are different, and the lead functions are also different.

After the module is connected to the power supply correctly, it is necessary to input a trigger signal in Rx lead (trigger signal is falling edge pulse under high-level pulse width output and UART controlled output; trigger signal is not required under UART automatic output and switch output, and the lead is defined as other functions) to make the module work once. After measurement, TX lead outputs corresponding measurement junction Result (high level pulse or hexadecimal value corresponding to width and distance).
