The SG01 ultrasonic waste fill level detector adopts ultrasonic technology and is specially developed for IoT automatic control applications. It is pre-configured to work with our proprietary ultrasonic module DYP-A13-V1.0. Primarily used for waste bin fullness detection and automatic cloud upload via network, the unit enables real-time monitoring and automatic reporting of bin fill status to facilitate timely waste collection and transportation.

Product Features

The DYP-SG01 ultrasonic bin sensor is an ultrasonic overflow detection module specially engineered for IoT automatic control scenarios, capable of real-time fill-level monitoring and automatic data upload of waste containers.
Waste Overflow Detection Sensor
The trash sensor features a detection range of 25cm to 200cm and superior anti-interference capability, alongside tilt monitoring covering 0° to 180°. Integrated with a 4G CAT-1 cellular module, the unit works with mainstream mobile operator networks in Europe and North America. A built-in magnetic trigger switch enables effortless activation using a magnet, while dual LED lamps provide clear visual indication of device operation and network connectivity.
Multi-function Integration
 
Powered by two ER26500 lithium thionyl chloride batteries with a combined capacity of 18,000mAh, the ultrasonic bin level sensor ensures a service life of no less than 3 years under typical operating environments. Bluetooth LE 5.0 is supported for convenient wireless network configuration.
Simple Installation & Debugging
 
Adopting an integrated design of main controller and ultrasonic sensor, the product boasts great installation compatibility and IP67 waterproof rating. Its operating temperature spans from -20℃ to +60℃, making it widely suitable for overflow monitoring of all kinds of waste bins and garbage houses.

Scope of Application

DYP-SG01 bin sensor module is mainly applied to waste bin overflow detection with automatic remote data transmission over cellular networks. It enables real-time monitoring and auto-reporting of bin fill status to facilitate timely waste collection, reduce labor expenses and boost sanitation management efficiency. Furthermore, it can be extended to diverse IoT sensing applications including wireless liquid level testing and downhole liquid level monitoring.

Precautions for Use

1. Install the main unit and sensor module per the recommended opening dimensions and secure all connecting cables firmly.
2. Align the ultrasonic module toward the center of the waste bin as much as possible and avoid bin rims or ledges to prevent detection interference.
3. The main unit comes with a built-in antenna; reserve open surrounding space to guarantee stable positioning and cellular signal reception.
4. Battery lifespan is affected by GNSS and 4G signal strength. In poor signal coverage areas, higher power consumption during signal searching will shorten service life.
5. The device is pre-matched with DYP-A13-V1.0 module. Contact us if replacement of alternative sensors is required.
