The A21 module is an ultrasonic obstacle avoidance sensor designed based on robot automatic control application, focus on designing for problems on the current market ultrasonic sensor large blind spot, small measurement angle, long response time, poor installation adaptability and other problems ,the A21 module has a series of advantages like small blind spot, large measurement angle, short response time, the same frequency filtering interference, high installation adaptability, dust and waterproof, long life and high reliability.
The intelligent acoustic processing technology independently developed by our company can identify and filter the interference acoustic wave, and output data more stable and reliable,making the A21 module reduce the probability of same frequency ultrasonic interference to a certain extent, and meet the users' application needs for the complex environment in the filed of robot automatic control.

Product Features
The DYP-A21 ultrasonic sensor boasts a wide voltage power supply ranging from 3.33V to 24V, ensuring compatibility with diverse power sources. It features a 3cm standard blind area (with a minimum of 2.5cm achievable), enabling precise near-field detection. The farthest measurement range is configurable across 5 levels (50cm, 150cm, 250cm, 350cm, 500cm) via commands, offering flexibility for different scenarios.
Multiple output modes are available, including UART auto/controlled, PWM controlled, switch volume TTL level (3.3V), RS485, and IIC, with consistent functionality across modes. Notably, UART and PWM controlled modes support ultra-low sleep power consumption ≤5μA. The default baud rate is 115,200, adjustable to 4800, 9600, 14400, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 76800 for flexible communication.
With millisecond-level response time (as fast as 13ms for data output), the sensor ensures real-time feedback. It offers selectable single/double angle configurations: single angle supports 4-level adjustments (40°, 45°, 55°, 65°), while double angle allows 4-level settings for horizontal angles (45°, 50°, 55°, 65°) and vertical angles (60°, 65°, 70°, 80°), adapting to various application needs. Equipped with a 5-grade noise reduction function, it withstands battery, USB (short/long-distance), switch power, and high-noise power supplies. The intelligent acoustic wave processing technology employs built-in algorithms to filter interference waves, outputting"FFFE"to prompt same-frequency interference and enhancing accuracy by 80% in such environments.
